Job Description
The Bakken Area Skills Center, is looking for a talented and motivated Information Technology instructor to teach classes for the 2024-25 school year. Applicants must have a North Dakota CTE Teaching License, OR four years of industry experience. Salary is contingent upon experience, benefits included.
The Bakken Area Skills Center is a newly formed Regional K-12 CTE Center in northwest North Dakota. This position is a 9 month position and may be full or part time, depending on the applicant.
Job Type: Full-time
Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years (8,000 hours) of work experience in an industry related field
An associates degree in related field may substitute up to 4,000 hours
Applicant must have or be eligible for a North Dakota teaching license or must have or be eligible to be certified by the Department of Career and Technical Education in Information Technology. Consideration may be given to applicants who are able to teach in multiple areas such as Automotive, Automation, Welding, UAS, CDL, Agriculture, Petroleum Technology, &/or a similar trade.
CTE certification must be achieved within two years
Application form and resume should demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed to meet the minimum qualifications for this position
Employment requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment. A state and federal background check will be conducted on the final candidate
